Adam Song, a college dropout who left school to pursue music full-time, goes broke and is forced to return home to San Diego and live with his immigrant father, Edward. His job? Serving “Wok-o-Taco” at his father’s Chinese-Mexican fusion restaurant. The monotony of home life sends Adam in a downward spiral, but his dream of being an artist persists. Now, Adam nears the release of his newest EP, “Boyhood,” the project he believes will break him free of San Diego and launch him into the stratosphere. Above all else, this moment is paramount to whether Adam can make something of himself, and prove to everyone - especially his father - that he is not a failure.
