Concealing her struggles from her father, she seeks refuge in this neighborhood, originally formed by North Korean defectors during the Korean War but now a vibrant enclave for foreigners in Korea. For Yoon, Haebangchon is a liminal space: simultaneously a source of comfort and a haunting reminder of the tragic Itaewon Halloween Crowd Crush, where she lost friends. As she grapples with her past and present, Yoon faces the uncertain question of where her journey will lead beyond Haebangchon.
